5 Albums To Keep You Up At Night
by Dan Baxter
I lost some sleep putting this list together, so don’t expect anything super detailed. Below you’ll find five albums which will keep you up at night for various reasons.
Station to Station by David Bowie
This was an album fueled almost entirely on late nights, and copious amounts of cocaine. Insomnia is in the DNA of this album, and it comes straight through the wax.
2. Struttin’ by The Meters
For the late night partiers, The Meters will always be your best choice. Struttin’ is full of absolute bangers. Keep it spinning, and strut all night.
3. Master of Reality by Black Sabbath
For best results, spin this one at 3AM. If you start to doze off during Orchid- the rest of the B- Side will snap you out of it.
4. God Bless Tiny Tim by Tiny Tim
No one wants to fall asleep to Tiny Tim.
5. The Wall by Pink Floyd
I mean, the art alone is enough to make you never want to fall asleep again. Slow parts for sure, but with an explosive album and film to follow, this is sure to keep you up for hours.
What albums keep you awake?
